Camp Overview

Doug Lemons brings his love of the game and his winning philosophies to junior golfers of all levels through the Ohio Junior Golf Academy. As one of the Top 50 Kids Instructors Doug has built a unique and specialized formula that has yielded proven results, allowed kids to develop a skill and love for golf that lasts a lifetime and for those interested, an ability to compete at an elite level.

The goal of Ohio Junior Golf Academy first and foremost is to build teach the skills, rules, and etiquette to play the game. Doug's 18 years of teaching experience has helped him to create the most effective teaching approach with the most outstanding results. Our method is simple, Doug is very active in all the camps along side his Instructors that have learned to mirror his approach. The camps are focused on providing a FUN atmosphere using all available teaching aids in creative ways. SNAG, Birdie Ball, and real golf balls/clubs are all used to teach our camps. Most importantly, when the Camp is over the learning does not stop. Student's are then identified into categories such as, private instruction, tournament play, recreational, just to name a few. We align their potential with the student and the parent's goals to continuing their relationship with the Academy. That being said, the most positive retention feedback we notice is that 25% of the campers repeat the class the very next session. We sell out every camp, every year, sometimes months before it even begins. To that we say, Thank you!

With our class size limited to only 8-10 students and no more than a 4 to 1 student to coach ratio, the students receive individual attention in a very safe environment.
